10 Hour Texas CHL Course

Most military, law enforcement and security personnel receive anywhere from 30 to 80 hours of firearms training before authorized to carry a firearm on a regular basis. We have over 20 years of real world training experience and our training personality will cater to your level regardless of your experience. Our CHL class is exciting, informative and is created to help you avoid or survive a deadly force confrontation.

Equipment Requirements

Handgun .380 or greater in caliber
Strong side hip holster with retention (No shoulder, in the pant or cross draw holsters)
Magazine pouch & 3 Magazines
Mandatory eye/ear protection
100 rounds of ammunition (No Steel Core Ammo Allowed)
Ink pen & Note taking material
Body Armor (Optional but not mandatory)
Concealment garment (Lightweight jacket or photo type vest)
Mandatory ball cap (No open toed shoes allowed)
Valid and current identification or DL for CHL-100

Handguns & Equipment available for rent for only $20 Reservations required due to limited quantities

Minimum required by the State of Texas 10 Hours

Course cost does not include finger printing fee, application fee, passport photos, ammunition or equipment rental. CDG will only provide the 10 hour training, written exam, live fire qualification and CHL-100 certification.
